Corrugated cardboard box die cut design process

1: When designing die-cutting boards, pay attention to the pressure lines and the knife

As shown in Figure 3-1, a poorly designed dieboard will break the foot of the product. In addition, when folded, it is prone to false breaks.

2, the cutting board cutting

Whether it is laser cutting or saw cutting, we must pay full attention to the verticality and width of the slit.

As shown in Figure 3-3, when a > 0.15mm, unilateral indentation will occur. In the figure B, when the slit is too wide, the knife or the pressure wire will fall off.

3, knife and assembly line and knife and line height.

(1) Height of knife The standard knife height of Japan is 23.6mm and 23.5mm.
(2) Pressure lines

The size and shape of the pressure wire, as shown in Figure 3-4 Figure 3-4

The dimensions in Figure 3-4:

T 0.7 0.9 1.0 1.2 1.4 1.5 1.8 2.0 3.0
H(mm) 23.2 23.1 23.0 22.9 22.9 22.8 22.6 22.6 22.0

Pressure line shape

The height of the press line: The height of the press line and the knife is determined by the paper thickness used in the product.

The height of the cardboard line is set:

Pressure line height = knife height - paper thickness + 0.1...0.2 (thickness film thickness of quick-fit tape)

Example: Paper No. 7

Knife height Paper thickness Line height

23.6 - 0.46 = 23.1

Corrugated paper height setting:

Pressure line height = knife height - compacted thickness of corrugated paper

Example: B/F Knife height Paper thickness Press line height

23.6 - 0.8 = 22.8 Tool Height Example 3-6

Pressure line thickness setting:

The thickness of the wire should be set so that the phenomenon shown in Figure 3-7 does not occur. Figure 3-7
