Voith Fabrics Introduces New Products in the Forming Line Series

Voith Fabrics recently launched the MultiForm V series. Voith Fabrics, in close cooperation with Voith Paper's other divisions, has successfully developed a new generation of multi-layered forming fabrics designed to meet the requirements of today's advanced board and packaging machines. “MultiForm V fabrics focus on increasing the abrasion resistance of the mesh while maintaining a uniform web surface for good forming and retention.” said Howard Jones, who is responsible for Voith Fabric's board and wrap forming network. The design allows a wide selection of weft thread diameters at the wear surface without affecting the dehydration characteristics and thus improves the wear resistance, thus increasing the life of the forming wire.

The technical feature of MultiFormV is a three-layer mesh that is self-connected by warp wires and prevents the internal wear of the forming wire. Since the weft is not connected in the transverse direction, the forming wire is dehydrated more evenly and kept clean for a long period of time. Tests have shown that MultiFormV effectively improves fiber support and improves the flatness of the paper web through a plain weaved surface. This innovative technology has the highest dewatering capacity and thus meets the requirements of today's high-speed grid machines.

“The new design of Voith Fabrics, MultiFormV, completely meets our requirements in terms of formability, retention and fabric life.” Henning Dippel, production manager for PM 6 at the Tec-nokarton Mayen paper mill in Germany, said: “MultiForm V design, The operational problems that have existed for us are the common fiber and water carryover of forming networks.

MultiFormV has successfully developed a combination of Voith fabrics and Voith Paper's research and development department. The complementary resources sharing technologies of the two groups under the same group will further promote the development of papermaking technology.

“This is a sign of the papermaking field. We will further improve with high quality and high efficiency.” Andeas Wei, Manager of Business Development, Cardboard Packaging Department (Eurasia) said: “The MultiForm V series is the perfect combination of technologies in various fields.”

The research and development of MultiForm V series products in Europe and the United States has performed exceptionally well in the Asian market. One of the SSB three-layer forming nets, the MultiForm V series, can now be produced locally on the Voith fabric Kunshan.

Forged cookware

The shape of forged aluminum cookware is similar as Die-cast Cookware, but the price is cheaper than die-cast cookware. Forged Aluminum Cookware is thicker than pressed aluminum cookware. Thicker aluminum cookware gives better heat distribution and cooking performance.

If you do not like thin cooking pot, and think the price of di-cast cookware is too high, then you can choose forged cookware.
