1. Paper stretch control

Paper stretching is the most frequent and difficult to control factor in the printing process. In the printing process, it is impossible to completely prevent paper expansion and contraction, but it is possible to control the expansion and contraction value within a relatively stable range. How to control the expansion and contraction of the paper is the basis of the hot stamping pattern registration process. The stability of newly-entered paper is generally quite poor, for the following reasons.

(1) The inside of the paper is still in a quite unstable state (such as the amount of water content), and it must be left for a period of time to reach a stable state.

(2) Changes in environmental temperature and humidity during transportation will also cause changes in the dimensional stability of the paper.

Therefore, for the newly-entered paper, it should be stored in the printing workshop for 2-3 weeks after opening, so that it can be expanded and deformed to a stable state in the production environment, and then wrapped with shrink film, and then opened when used.

2. Control of hot stamping process

Pattern positioning hot stamping is the key to this technology. It is necessary to use scientific process schemes and statistical principles to improve this process, and try to eliminate the problems in the bud. The following schemes can be used for control during hot stamping.

(1) Film positioning method. In the hot stamping process, the film is used for hot stamping, that is, the film is used to check the position of the hot pattern to ensure that the position of the pattern on the paper is accurate. In the process of adopting this method, the ruled line must be pressed out at the middle edge of the paper to facilitate hot stamping ruled line stability inspection and post-processing inspection.

(2) Contour positioning method. The outline of the pattern to be hot stamped (its size can be slightly improved) is first printed with light-colored outlines using printing equipment, and then hot stamped against the printed outline. This method is helpful for the machine personnel to detect whether the hot stamping position is accurate in time.

(3) Special attention should be paid to the absolute consistency of the two rules (front and side rules) in the hot stamping process, otherwise the consequences will be unimaginable.

3. Control of printing process

If the above two aspects are controlled, then the printing process can be done according to "rules". If there is a problem in the control process, you can use the following measures to remedy.

(1) For products that do not handle paper properly, you can use the humidity control method to record the time and environmental status of the paper in the form of a table, record the process in detail, and record the process of the humidity control process after the small batch test is successful And product analysis. Then formulate a standard humidity control treatment process plan, implement the process plan, and finally complete the printing process.

(2) If the two regulations are unstable during the hot stamping process, you can use the method of drawing lines to perform sub-regulation printing (if the two stamping regulations are too chaotic, the batch of products will be scrapped).

It can be seen from the above analysis that if the problem is left to be resolved in the printing process, it will be in a passive state, so it should be prevented and resolved as soon as possible.
