High-speed printing machine printing process and notes

【Chinese Packaging Network News】The printing machine is a kind of equipment used for industrial printing. The number of printing companies with relatively high technology abroad has been relatively low. Most of the production companies have moved to China, so the development of high-speed printing machines is nowadays. The inevitable form of development. Most people in the printing process of high-speed pad printing machines are unfamiliar. Let's introduce them here.

High-speed printing machine printing process

High-speed pad printers can be divided into open-type oil pans and sealed oil cup systems, and the plastic head stroke operation operates on both systems.

Open type oil tray:

As the print head moves forward, the rods fill the patterned etching plate with ink.

When the print head is moved back, the scraper scrapes the excess ink on the steel plate, leaving only the part of the pattern etching ink.

Sealed oil cup system:

When the oil cup is pushed forward, the ink in the cup is sent to the etched position on the printing plate, and the ink fills up.

When the oil cup is returned, the ceramic ring of the cup will resemble gravure printing like the principle of squeegee transfer. The tools include silicone pad printing head, patterned printing plate (steel or fiber) and ink, which can be printed in various ways. Very thin lines, fonts and patterns, even four-color screen images. Regardless of whether the printed surface is concave, convex or irregular, it can still print the desired effect. For example, printing a four-color logo on a golf ball is one of the specialties of the printing machine. The excess ink is generally scraped away.

Precautions:

If the ink of the high-speed pad printer is too strong, the plate may be difficult to clean, causing electrostatic problems (hairlines); if the ink is too thin, the transparency may increase, and the transfer head may also be difficult to transfer the ink.

Since there are many different inks on the market, it is difficult to define the time and frequency of adding thinning water or slow drying water. We can only rely on the observation of the printing effect to decide.

The above is the printing process of a high-speed pad printer. I hope everyone can gain something. For more relevant information, you are welcome to continue to pay attention to China Packaging Network.
