Brief description of quarantine packaging

Plastic Container (PLASTIC CONTAINER)

1 Overview

The plastic container, namely a hollow blow-molded container, is processed by a hollow molding method. Open plastic buckets, cans and closed plastic buckets, cans, open plastic buckets and cans are mainly used for holding solid chemicals, foods, medicines, etc. Closed plastic buckets and cans are mainly used for holding liquid substances. It has the characteristics of light weight, non-friable, corrosion-resistant and recyclable. Its maximum volume is 450L, and the maximum weight of the loaded goods is 400kg.

2. Production process

Plastic containers must pay attention to the following issues in the design and production process: inflation, extension, vertical load strength, container rigidity, support surface, flap thread, shape and outer surface and molding, temperature, pressure, etc. Plastic container mechanical properties, formability, mold structure and processing rationality and container use conditions. The process flow is: Mixing→screw squeezing→clamping→blowing→opening→cooling→trimming→inspection.

3. Quality requirements

For plastic containers used as export goods for transportation and packaging, inspection shall be conducted in accordance with SN/T0271-93 "Procedures for Inspection of Plastics Containers for Transportation of Export Commodities", and shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T13508-92 "Polyethylene blown drums".

(1) Appearance: The ratio of wall thickness to thickness of barrel is not more than 2:1. No blisters, no plasticization, smooth outer wall and mouth, no more than 2 bubbles with diameter less than 2mm, and no black spots. Above 4mm, the mouthpieces are closely overlapped and the interchangeability is good.

(2) Performance test: The open plastic container shall be subjected to vertical impact drop test, stacking test and sealing test. Closed plastic containers shall be subject to vertical impact drop tests, stacking tests, gas tight tests, and hydraulic tests. Mounting handles and integral handles for plastic containers also require suspension tests.

1 Vertical Impact Drop Test: The sample was performed at -18°C. Drop height: If water is used as a substitute, the proposed product with a density of not more than 1.2 is 0.8m; the proposed product with a density of more than 1.2 has a drop height of 0.67m×density. See SN/T0271 "Regulations for the Inspection of Plastic Containers for the Transportation of Export Goods" at the drop site.

2 stacking test: test temperature 40 °C, stacking time 7 days.

Stacking quality is calculated as follows:

M0=(H/h-1)×M1

Where: M0 - stacking mass applied on plastic containers, kg;

M1 - single package quality, kg;

H - stacking height, 3m;

h - the height of a single plastic container, m.

Note: The value of H/h should be rounded to an integer.

3 airtight test: 20kpa.

4 Hydraulic test: 100kpa.

5 Seal test and suspension test See GB/T13508-92.
