"Imitation ability" is too strong, Chinese companies are repeatedly rejected

Milan Design Week is the supreme stage of the home industry. As a furniture culture with more than 2,000 years of furniture culture, the early furniture was born in the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties, but it has not been recognized by the world home industry. Many industry experts and brand leaders believe that the "original design" is not the highlight.
"In the furniture industry, the West recognizes that we are a big exporter of production, but it is not a design power." One of the exhibitors, Rong Lin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Rong Lin said frankly.
Another exhibitor, Fu Haijun, general manager of CAMERICH, said that China has always been regarded as a big manufacturing country, at the end of the industrial value chain, and the profits that can be earned are getting thinner.
In fact, "China" is not silent in the Milan exhibitions over the years. Since 2008, the Chinese elements have slowly penetrated into the Milan Furniture Fair.
What is embarrassing is that due to the superb "copying" ability of Chinese furniture companies, Chinese cabinet companies were rejected by the exhibition party at the "International Kitchenware Exhibition" of the 2010 Milan Design Week.

It is understood that this year's Milan exhibition, China not only achieved zero breakthrough, but also two participating teams went to Milan. One is the Chinese designer team led by Beijing International Design Week and Red Star Macalline and the China Innovation Design Red Star Award. It will bring 80 pieces of "chairs" designed by more than 50 designers in the Tortona area of ​​Milan. The Ansaldo Center hosts a Chinese design exhibition.
The other team, led by the well-known domestic home furnishing brand CAMERICH (Rui Chi), will present the concept work “Mountainâ€, which is designed in collaboration with Standardarchitecture “Standard Constructionâ€, at the INTERNI LEGACY exhibition held at the National University of Milan. .
