Mexico pays attention to plastic bottle recycling

More than 90 million plastic bottles are discarded each year in Mexico, which has a great impact on the environment. A few days ago, the government decided to build a plastic bottle recycling plant to rectify environmental pollution.

At present, six major cities in Mexico have set up waste plastic bottle purchasing stations, which will provide plastic raw materials for the industrial sector. It is reported that the government will invest another 87 million U.S. dollars in the construction of a plastic bottle recycling plant within three years. It is estimated that the total amount of recycled plastics produced within five years will be equivalent to that of the EU in the past 10 years.

At the same time, the Mexican government will use television, newspapers and other media to publicize the importance of purifying the environment.
