Successful development of silicon-propylene resin and architectural coatings

Silicone-propylene resin and architectural coatings, silicone-acrylic emulsions, and architectural coatings have recently been tested by the National Chemical Building Materials Testing Center.
Silicone-propylene resin is a polymeric resin made from the copolymerization of acrylic monomers and organic silicon monomers. The resin has a large increase in molecular weight distribution, glass transition temperature and its gloss after filming, UV resistance, water repellency, anti-grey adhesion, etc. At the same time, it also has the flexibility, adhesion and high gloss of acrylic resin, etc. Characteristics, is the ideal building synthetic resin. The architectural coatings with silicon-propylene resin as the film-forming material have better performance than general decorative coatings and have a service life of 15 years.
The high-performance synthetic resin emulsions developed with this synthesis technology are superior to styrene-acrylic, ethylene-propylene, and other emulsions in terms of their technical indicators. The architectural coatings produced by them have good weather resistance, oil resistance, and water resistance.
