This phenomenon is more likely to occur in a humid environment, because the moisture in the air is easy to absorb acid or alkaline gas, and the air is always in contact with the surface of the plate roller. When the chromium layer is just corroded, if the chromium is not removed and re-plated as soon as possible, it is likely to corrode the copper layer in a short time, so that the plate roller is scrapped, causing unnecessary losses.

Problems and treatment methods in printing plate printing:

1. Drawing and threading: Non-pattern lines sometimes appear on the print during the printing process, and the lines are intermittent.
Cause: Mainly caused by ink contamination and coarse ink particles.
Solution:
1. Polishing the printing plate roller with 1000 # sandpaper will raise the drawing area.
2. Replace the scraper, or polish the scraper, and adjust the pressure and angle of the scraper.
3. Impurities in the ink will cause wire drawing, filter the ink or replace the ink.
4. Printing companies that frequently experience wire drawing should pay more attention to the environment of the printing workshop.

Second, bite the color: the printing process will appear the phenomenon that the latter color ink will bring down the former color ink.
Cause: This is often caused when the ink of the previous color has not yet dried and the ink of the second color has begun to transfer.
Solution:
1. Reduce printing speed.
2. Use quick-drying solvents.
3. Adjust the temperature and wind speed of the drying system.
4. Reduce the pressure of the impression cylinder.

3. Dirty version: High-speed gravure printing will cause the problem of dirty version, which is manifested by the non-printing surface of the cylinder also being stained with a hazy layer of ink, which makes the printed matter dirty.
Cause: Mainly due to a large amount of resin precipitation and coalescence, and the affinity of the resin to the roller, under the pressure of the blade, the resin will stick tightly to the roller, resulting in a dirty version.
Solution:
1. Use solvents with strong dissolving power and fast evaporation. (You can refer to the attached table of solvent parameters provided by us).
2. Reduce the viscosity of the ink, so that the resin is fully dissolved.
3. The squeegee adopts hard scraping in printing.
4. The angle of the scraper is about 60 degrees.
5. When none of the above solutions can be solved, try polishing the plate roller with 1000 # sandpaper.

4. Has the reticulation phenomenon or tortoise pattern bothered you?
