Sticker printing differs according to the type of printing paper. At present, there are two types of printing paper:
1. Monomer structure of printing paper monomer or adhesive agent, such as water-coated active glue, etc .;
2. The printing paper is a surface substrate, coated with pressure-sensitive glue, and the bottom surface is coated with a release agent-coated composite structure (also called self-adhesive).
The former can be manufactured with a non-adhesive printing machine, and the commonly used sticker printing refers to the latter.
The self-adhesive printing machine can perform printing, embossing, stamping, and laminating processing simultaneously or continuously, which is very different from general printing. The printing methods include relief printing, offset printing, gravure printing, flexographic printing, and screen printing.

1. Self-adhesive printing layout
There are relief printing, offset printing, gravure printing, flexo printing, and screen printing, etc., and the largest proportion of relief printing in Japan. 2. The way of sticker printing
a) Flat-press printing method: intermittent paper feeding, printing and die cutting when the paper stops.
b) Rotary printing method: suitable for high-speed operation, the layout also has a variety of convex, glue, soft, concave and so on.
C) Screen printing method: Developed for continuous label printing such as nameplates and wiring diagrams.
3. Manufacturing method of die cutter
a) Flat-press die-cutting knife: The same style as ordinary flat-press die-cutting knife, because it is a relatively thin surface substrate, the support of the knife mold generally uses Bakelite (phenolic) or vinyl chloride (PVC) original board.
b) Cylindrical die-cutting knife: engrave the die and add the knife on the cylinder.
c) In recent years, the cylinder has been made into a magnetic, corroded thin plate type.
4. Ink for different printing methods: The type and adaptability of the ink vary greatly according to the printing method, drying method, printing paper. Therefore, to choose an ink suitable for various methods, ink suppliers are required to provide satisfactory solutions.
