What is the Jade Sword is well known. In ancient times, bronze smelting was one of the precious achievements of ancient Chinese civilization. China's bronze sword production has entered a mature stage after the late Spring and Autumn Period.
The bronze sword at that time was mainly composed of two parts: the blade body and the sword stem. There is a raised partition between the sword stem and the blade, called the "grid", and those more elaborate bronze swords will have some decorations on the "grid" to show the user's identity and status. . These decorations are usually made of jade material, so they are called "Jade Sword".
Collector: I want to restore the swords of the ancient jade, which is worthy of the city. I collected a piece of jade artifacts from the jade sword in Beijing. However, due to the age, the bronze part of the jade sword has been eroded. Only these four jade are left. The collector said that every time he took out the four pieces of jade, many people did not know what the jade was. He is deeply sorry that he cannot let more people appreciate China's bronze civilization.
So the collectors contacted Zhang Fei Printing Studio of the School of Art and Design of Beijing University of Technology, so that Teacher Zhang and Teacher Wang could find ways to restore the true appearance of the Jade Sword with modern technology.
Since I have used the three-dimensional EinScan-Pro+ scanner for artistic innovation, Zhang and Wang have thought of using EinScan-Pro+ to obtain the three-dimensional data of the ancient jade after receiving the help from the collector. At the same time, the third-level SLA and SLS 3D printing technology is used for the later restoration. With the help of the first three-dimensional, Zhang Fei print studio began the repair process of the jade sword.
1 Scan: The whole process takes only about 10 minutes. Teacher Zhang puts four jade articles one by one on the turntable of EinScan-Pro+ and scans them in full-automatic scanning mode. As the turntable turns, the three-dimensional data of the jade is gradually displayed on the screen. The entire scanning process took only about 10 minutes.
2 The complete model of the jade sword was reversed. Later, Mr. Zhang introduced the scanned 3D model data into the design software Zbrush. Based on the 3D data of the jade, the complete model of the jade sword was built.
3 3D printing
After completing the modeling of all the ancient sword models, Zhang Fei Print Studio sent the 3D data to the service center of the first 3D cloud printing. Upon request, the service center immediately called the idle industrial grade light-curing 3D printer iSLA-650 Pro and the nylon powder sintered 3D printer EP-P380 to simultaneously print the jade reconstruction model and the ancient sword reconstruction model.
